MATA Driver Dies in Crash with Concrete Truck
A MATA bus driver died in a crash on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. The wreck occurred on I-240 when a concrete truck merged into the bus. Reportedly the concrete truck struck the side of the MATA bus, causing the bus to lose control and crash into a concrete embankment. The unidentified truck driver of the truck was listed in critical condition after being taken to The MED. The MATA driver, Chantel Sanders, was 41.
