Child Found Dead in Memphis Daycare
Investigations are underway following the discovery of a 1-year-old child who died at a local day care. Police responded yesterday to a day care known as Miss Pam S. Day Home, located on Crestview Drive in North Memphis. According to initial reports from police personnel, the day care was unlicensed. In Tennessee, a license is required when five kids or more are being looked after in a home. The Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, which handles licensing and regulation of day care centers, has opened a special investigation into the death.
